Unless you're self-employed and work alone, you need to do yourself a favor and read this book. In fact, do your co-workers the favor as well. It's short enough that I was able to finish it in a weekend.

Your value as an employee goes beyond your technical competence and work ethic. Working with others is part of your job description. Although any book on relationships can be applied to both work and home life, this one leaned more towards the work environment. To me, that's one good reason all developers should have this book on their shelf.
